More of Christina Yang’s back-handed comments on the new Grey’s Anatomy webisodes & “documentary”

The documentary is on the Grey’s Anatomy characters…so it’s behind the scenes of Seattle Grace Hospital (oooh just noticed the branding on “Grace” and “Grey” … what can I say … sometimes I rhyme slow … slow on the uptake yo)

Anyhoo…webisodes & “documentary” are now available. Click it.

BTW…
Love or Hate or indifferent about this couple? Rome invades Korea…RAR!

This is actually one of the first primetime Asian female-White male pairings I’ve seen.  I’d really like to make a comment on the stats of interracial dating and compare it to the frequency with which it’s analogies are seen on tv or in the media, but wow…that would be some research project.  So if anyone knows it off-hand (smarty pants!) please feel free to comment (scroll down below the dotted line) or email!

Salamat (Thank You in Tagalog).

There is the Asian male and African-American female pairing on FlashForward with sexy man John Cho and smokin’ Gabrielle Union and the short-lived Lucy Liu Asian female-male pairing on the cancelled Cashmere Mafia, both unique pairings on tv.  This kinda sounds like I’m spotting rare birds or something.

Keywords
:  Grey’s Anatomy webisodes, grey’s anatomy documentary, seattle grace hospital documentary, grey’s webisodes now available, sandra oh, famous korean actors, famous asian, famous asians, interracial couples on tv, interracial in the media

Black and Asian deliberately paired in FlashForward

famousfilipinos:

Gabrielle Union
and John Cho will play an engaged mixed ethnic couple in ABC’s FlashForward; which will provide a sufficiently intriguing storyline if writers incorporate the role that ethnicity plays in a relationship.
(Premieres September 23rd at 9:30 ET on ABC)

Here’s what Union had to say:

The cultural differences with our families…in the middle of a recession…[and those] that come from different cultures and races and backgrounds, will definitely be explored,” Union said in an exclusive interview last week in Pasadena, Calif. “And, I love John.”

Everyone in the world blacks out for over 2 minutes and catches a glipmse of the future and their lives on April 29, 2010.  The bulk of the 1st season sees the characters figuring out what will come true and whether they can alter the future they’ve seen.  Union said her scenes with Cho focus on their relationship.[source]
