HAITI - Food, water, shelter, sickness, and death continue to be urgent problems even with an estimated 16,000 grounded US forces delivering aid to the double earthquake stricken Haiti. The 7.0 quake that shook Port-au-Prince on January 12th killed approximately 200,000 people, injured 250,000 and left 1.5 million homeless. Just eight days later, a 5.8 aftershock (revised from 6.1) trembled Haiti about 36 miles west of the capital. More aftershocks could follow within the next 30 days. October 1, 2009 - The gorgeous Indian model, turned actress, turned author and Emmy-nominated co-host of cooking show, Top Chef, confirmed today that she is pregnant with her first child. (The father has not been revealed.)
